• New Milton War Memorial Hall: The Memorial Centre management have cancelled tonight’s club session because the floor has been adversely affected by the extremely hot weather. Dehumidifiers have been installed to help resolve the problem. The next Thursday club night is scheduled to take place on 4th July, but this will be subject to confirmation. Times: 7.40pm till 9.40pm open practice. Fees: £4.00 members, £5.00 non-members, juniors £2.00.
• Mudeford Wood Security: The Community Centre was affected by the implementation of Martyn’s Law. This is in tribute to Martyn Hett, who was killed alongside 21 others in the Manchester Arena attack in 2017. This protocol applies to any community building with a capacity of 100+ (Standard Tier). Essentially it requires the Community Centre to be locked whilst we are using the
• facility.
• I suggest someone volunteers to open the door between 7.00 pm and 7.30 pm, to admit members/visiting players. After then time people will have to ring the bell, knock on the door of Room 2, or knock on the emergency doors at the far end of the hall.
