* Mudeford Wood Community Centre will be closed to all users over the August Bank Holiday weekend because the Community Centre is undergoing an intensive clean from 6.00pm Friday 28th August until 9.00pm Monday 31st August. The new season is scheduled to begin on 14^th September so perhaps, we can consider playing the final round of pairs fixtures on the previous Sunday evening.

Mudeford Wood Security: The Community Centre was affected by the implementation of Martyn’s Law. This is in tribute to Martyn Hett, who was killed alongside 21 others in the Manchester Arena attack in 2017. This protocol applies to any community building with a capacity of 100+ (Standard Tier). Essentially it requires the Community Centre to be locked whilst we are using the facility.
I suggest someone volunteers to open the door between 7.00 pm and 7.30 pm, to admit members/visiting players. After that time people will have to ring the bell, knock on the door of Room 2, or knock on the emergency doors at the far end of the hall.
