Policy for Safeguarding of Juniors at the Dorset Table Tennis Centre, The Grange School, Christchurch, Dorset.

 

As the changing room/toilet block is not an integral part of the sports hall at this venue, the following policy has been written to safeguard our junior players when using the toilet facility or when leaving the venue.

 

Juniors (a player under 18 years of age) must not leave the hall unaccompanied, this includes when they are picked up after a match or coaching session.  Parents/guardians must come into the hall to collect their child.

 

If a junior player wishes to use the toilet during the evening then they must be accompanied by their parent/guardian or a DBS checked adult.  The adult should wait just outside the toilet and then accompany the junior back into the hall afterwards.

I would appreciate your full compliance with this policy, as obviously safeguarding of our junior players is one of the club’s highest priorities.
