It ain’t over till the fat lady sings…

Daish won the first end comfortably. McMullan then took advantage of some poor play by Daish to take the next two ends and looked in control of the match. However, Daish fought back to level the score 2-2. In the 5th end McMullan took a runaway lead, and with the score standing at 10-7 and with three match points to McMullan it looked all over. But Daish refused to give up the fight and with the serve wisely took time to compose himself. With three match points against him he won the next four in a row! At match point for Daish the whole hall fell silent. With momentum on his side Daish drove home his advantage and stole the match with the ball clipping the net to seal the victory.

With this victory Daish confirmed his position as number 1 in Hampshire for his age range.
